Protection is the second studio album by British trip hop group Massive Attack. Originally released in 1994, it followed Blue Lines and expanded the band’s atmospheric blend of dub, soul, hip-hop, electronica and cinematic Bristol sound.
This single LP edition includes Protection, Karmacoma, Three, Weather Storm, Spying Glass, Better Things, Eurochild, Sly, Heat Miser and Light My Fire. The album features notable vocal contributions from Tracey Thorn, Tricky, Nicolette and Horace Andy, giving the record its distinctive mixture of intimacy, tension and late-night atmosphere.
