Californication is the seventh studio album by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. Originally released in 1999, it marked the return of guitarist John Frusciante and became one of the band’s defining records, combining alternative rock, funk-influenced grooves, melodic songwriting and a more reflective emotional tone.

This 2LP edition includes Around The World, Parallel Universe, Scar Tissue, Otherside, Get On Top, Californication, Easily, Porcelain, Emit Remmus, I Like Dirt, This Velvet Glove, Savior, Purple Stain, Right On Time and Road Trippin’. The album balances energetic rock tracks with more atmospheric and melodic moments, making it one of the essential Red Hot Chili Peppers albums.

This 2LP vinyl edition was released by Warner Bros on 14 January 2016. The edition presents the album across two records, giving its long tracklist and dynamic alternative rock production more space on vinyl.
