Traveling Miles is a studio album by American jazz vocalist Cassandra Wilson, originally released by Blue Note in 1999.
The album is Wilson’s personal tribute to Miles Davis, reimagining the spirit of his music through her own blues, jazz, folk and contemporary vocal language. It includes tracks such as Run The Voodoo Down, Traveling Miles, Right Here Right Now, Time After Time, Seven Steps, Someday My Prince Will Come, Never Broken, Resurrection Blues and Sky And Sea.
This 2LP vinyl edition was released by Blue Note on 25 April 2025 and presents the album as a remastered double-vinyl pressing. The format gives Wilson’s dark, textured voice and the album’s spacious instrumental arrangements a strong physical presentation.
