Ultra is the ninth studio album by British electronic band Depeche Mode. Originally released in 1997, it was the band’s first album after the departure of Alan Wilder and a major transitional record, combining dark electronic production, rock textures, downtempo moods and some of Martin Gore’s most introspective songwriting.

This single LP edition includes Barrel Of A Gun, The Love Thieves, Home, It’s No Good, Uselink, Useless, Sister Of Night, Jazz Thieves, Freestate, The Bottom Line and Insight. The album is especially important for Barrel Of A Gun, It’s No Good, Home and Useless, and it remains one of Depeche Mode’s darkest and most atmospheric 1990s releases.
