Boy is the debut studio album by Irish rock band U2. Originally released in 1980, it introduced the band’s early post-punk energy, emotional directness and the distinctive guitar sound of The Edge, setting the foundation for U2’s later international breakthrough.

This single LP edition includes I Will Follow, Twilight, An Cat Dubh, Into The Heart, Out Of Control, Stories For Boys, The Ocean, A Day Without Me, Another Time, Another Place, The Electric Co. and Shadows And Tall Trees. The album is especially important for I Will Follow, Out Of Control, The Electric Co. and A Day Without Me, and remains one of the defining early U2 records.
