A Broken Frame is the second studio album by British electronic band Depeche Mode. Originally released in 1982, it was the band’s first album after the departure of Vince Clarke and the first Depeche Mode album written entirely by Martin Gore, marking an important transition toward a more atmospheric and emotionally complex sound.

This single LP edition includes Leave In Silence, My Secret Garden, Monument, Nothing To Fear, See You, Satellite, The Meaning Of Love, A Photograph Of You, Shouldn’t Have Done That and The Sun & The Rainfall. The album still carries the bright synth-pop character of the early 1980s, but already points toward the darker, more textured Depeche Mode sound that would develop later.
